Founder's Day

Thursday, April 21, 2022

3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

5843-55 Catharine Street

The community is invited to participate in Caring People Alliance's Founder's Day Community Resource Fair in Cobbs Creek.

Caring People Alliance's founders Charles Edwin Fox, Esq., a leader in the founding of the Big Brother [Big Sister] Association of Philadelphia and philanthropist Samuel S. Fels brought together nearly two hundred prominent leaders in business and social welfare, judges, and lawyers on April 21, 1932, to found our organization.

Now, 90 years later, we will be opening the doors of our newest Boys & Girls Club to continue our mission of reducing poverty and injustice.

We invite the community to participate in this day, and one way to participate is through our Community Resource Fair.

Vendors from the community will join Caring People Alliance to present community resources during this in-person event being held on the second floor gymnasium at the new West Philadelphia Boys & Girls Club, located at 5843-55 Catharine Street.

At this time, masks are required and social distancing protocols will be enforced. There may be an outdoor wait time if event becomes too crowded at any given time.

Please note that this event is on the second floor of the facility.
