Description:

Operating out of our West Philadelphia Community Center, Treatment Foster Care (TFC) is a distinct, powerful model of care that combines the best elements of traditional foster care and residential treatment centers. In TFC, the positive aspects of a nurturing and therapeutic family environment are combined with active, structured treatment. This program provides individualized and intensive treatment for children and adolescents who would otherwise be institutionalized.

Clients range in age from 13 to 19 and are referred by the Philadelphia Department of Human Services. We also operate a satellite office in Williamsport, Pa., where 18 advocate homes are available to children from the Southeast Pennsylvania Region.
