Volunteer

On-going volunteer opportunities are available at our three community centers in nearly all of our programs, including child care, Boys & Girls Clubs, computer technology and programs for teen parents and older adults. We welcome adult and mature teen volunteers, who are reliable, flexible and punctual and can commit at least one hour per week to their volunteer project. (Because Caring People Alliance is a certified child care facility, Pennsylvania law requires volunteers to submit child abuse clearances and criminal history background checks and meet other requirements.)

Want to involve your company, service organization or club in a team-building group project? Caring People Alliance provides great group opportunities including beautification and hands-on client projects. Previous groups have painted the interiors and exteriors of our community centers, have been involved in general clean-up or have worked with children in our child care or Boys & Girls Club programs or seniors in our Older Adult programs. Group projects can be arranged in half-day or full-day segments.
