We empower Philadelphia children and youth to become positive citizens, decision-makers and leaders by providing them, their families and their elders with high quality, community-based programs and services that promote character building, educational achievement, healthy lifestyles and teamwork.

Statement from Caring People Alliance

Caring People Alliance, operator of Liberty Bell Boys & Girls Clubs is aware of a lawsuit pertaining to allegations of sexual misconduct by a former employee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.

Liberty Bell Boys & Girls Clubs is an independent organization, serving youth in the communities of North Central, West and South Philadelphia, and is not affiliated with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, nor involved in any way with this case.

Child protection and safety is the number one priority of Liberty Bell Boys & Girls Clubs. The organization is committed to the highest standards of ethical behavior and integrity, and does not tolerate inappropriate or illegal activity on the part of any staff member, board member or volunteer. All staff and volunteers must undergo a thorough criminal background check and child abuse clearance. All supervisory policies are designed to ensure the maximum safety and protection of Club members and staff.

2015 Summer Programs

Caring People Alliance is excited to announce a collaboration with Temple University College of Science and Technology to provide enriched science and technology content for all summer programs at Caring People Alliance Boys & Girls Clubs sites.  Science programming will occur Monday - Thursday mornings from 9:00 AM - Noon for Kindergarten through 12 year olds.  The science modules will be organizaed around the theme of the Environment and will include topics relevant to physical, life and earth sciences as well as engineering and technology.  The content will be developed and implemented through the College's TUteach program.  Go to http://cst.temple.edu/tuteach for more information on the TUteach program.  Robotics-based programming will be avaialble for older youth and teens.
